Shelly Lou’s Lids was founded by Michelle Kirby in 2013. Michelle is a social worker, wife and mom of 2 boys and 2 crazy dogs.
Shelly Lou’s Lids began as a creative outlet for Michelle and quickly became a profitable business venture and is now a full time job!
The Name
The business name has a little bit of a story. Now many people call Michelle – Shelly – because they met after the business but before only Greg, husband, called her Shelly. Lou comes from Louise – Michelle’s Grandmother and middle name. And Lids, well that is just another name for a hat!
We also enjoy setting up shop at events like Country Living Fair and Zassy’s Treasures Vendor Market.
